This traditional family-run Alpine hotel is in central Livigno. It offers a restaurant, bar and free bike hire. All rooms come with an LCD satellite TV. Hotel La Montanina enjoys ski-to-door access in the winter. There is a cross-country ski trail next to the hotel, and the Mottolino ski lifts are just 500 metres away. Rooms at La Montanina are completely furnished in wood. Each includes a private bathroom with slippers, toiletry set and hairdryer. Some have a hot tub. The restaurant serves Valtellina cuisine and there is also a cosy pub for evening drinks. A varied buffet breakfast is available each morning. Aquagranda Wellness Park is 2 km from the hotel while Lake Livigno is 4 km away. It is a 15-minute drive to the Italian-Swiss border.
